The company specializes in automation technologies for agricultural processes and services over 500 commercial poultry hatcheries in more than 65 countries. Its entire operation is situated on the MinnWest Technology Campus, including manufacturing and engineering departments.

Role Overview

The BI & AI Analyst plays a critical role in creating and maintaining data-driven tools such as dashboards, reports, and visualizations to empower business decisions. This position also leads the evaluation and application of Artificial Intelligence strategies to enhance enterprise functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and sustain dashboards, reports, and visual data presentations supporting various business units.
• Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop and optimize data extraction, transformation, loading workflows, and SQL database queries.
• Construct and manage scalable and accurate data models while ensuring compliance with governance standards.
• Act as the subject matter authority on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and CRM-related data.
• Collaborate with teams across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and IT to establish KPIs and reporting needs.
• Automate report generation to provide timely insights for stakeholders.
• Lead the AI deployment strategy, including governance, workflow integration, and promoting user adoption.
• Contribute actively as a team member aligned with the company's vision and values.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of five years’ professional experience in business intelligence or data analytics, with preferred experience in technical leadership.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and expertise with relational database systems and data modeling.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Knowledge of programming languages focused on data, such as Python or R.
• Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to effectively communicate complex data findings to diverse audiences.
• Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts with practical experience in AI tools, automation technologies, APIs, or enterprise AI solutions.
• Ability to convert business requirements into scalable analytics and AI-driven applications.
• Excellent multitasking, organizational, and communication skills suited for a dynamic environment.
• A professional and collaborative mindset with a commitment to ethical conduct and continuous growth.

Work Environment and Location

This role offers flexibility in work arrangements, supporting both onsite and remote setups depending on the candidate’s location. The physical site is located at the MinnWest Technology Campus, a historic and sprawling technology park in Willmar, MN, notable for its amenities such as a cafeteria, fitness center, daycare, and more.

Willmar is a lively city under two hours from Minneapolis with many recreational and cultural attractions including sports teams, lakes, theaters, trails, parks, and local amenities.

Compensation and Benefits
