Role Overview

This position sits within the Global Total Rewards team in Human Resources and plays an important role in helping the company attract and retain talent. The selected candidate will contribute to the design, rollout, and ongoing management of benefit offerings, including retirement, life and disability cover, medical plans, flexible benefits, and wellbeing initiatives. The role reports to the EMEA Regional Benefits Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of strategy for benefits, retirement, and wellbeing programmes.
  • Coordinate with vendors, brokers, consultants, and internal stakeholders to keep plans aligned with legal requirements and company rules.
  • Take ownership of implementing new programmes and changes to existing plan designs, including project coordination.
  • Review programme usage, spot patterns, and suggest improvements that strengthen the effectiveness of current offerings.
  • Assist in creating communications related to benefits, retirement, and wellbeing.
  • Write clearly, with strong grammar, spelling, and proofreading ability.
  • Apply communication planning principles, including messaging, tone, branding, and delivery tactics.
  • Structure information clearly, present it logically, and keep documentation complete and up to date.
  • Follow company procedures and ensure policies are applied in line with applicable government laws.
  • Support benefits administration tasks such as renewals, survey participation, and escalation of complex queries.
  • Help prepare business cases for benefit rollouts across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa using market comparisons, legal research, and cost estimates.
  • Provide responsive service to employees, internal teams, and external partners.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience managing benefits and retirement plans in a multinational or global environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience handling confidential information responsibly.
  • Background in managing outsourced vendors.
  • Negotiation experience and the ability to build constructive relationships with works councils and unions.
  • Exposure to mergers, acquisitions, or divestiture due diligence and integration work.
  • Experience with project management tools and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint and Teams.
  • Knowledge of EMEA benefit laws and regulations is preferred.
  • Comfort working with statistics and market trends is preferred.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills are preferred.
  • Strong delivery focus, problem anticipation, and issue resolution abilities are preferred.
  • Problem-solving mindset is preferred.
