Role overview
Belmond is hiring a Travel Advisor for a maternity cover assignment. The position sits within the Central Reservations, Europe office in London and reports to the Contact Centre Leader. The role is focused on delivering memorable, highly personalised guest journeys across the full reservation lifecycle.
This opportunity suits someone who brings a strong service mindset, enjoys storytelling through travel, understands luxury hospitality, and works to consistently high standards. It is a fixed-term role running from July to December 2026.
What you will do
- Coordinate smoothly with on-property operations teams and the Service Excellence team to ensure guest preferences and handovers are communicated clearly.
- Tailor each guest stay around individual needs and capture those details accurately in the relevant systems so they can be actioned by operations teams.
- Learn the different Belmond audience profiles and recommend destinations, products, and experiences that align with each guest.
- Represent and actively sell the full Belmond portfolio, confidently explaining options and converting enquiries into bookings.
- Work to service-level targets, including response times, queue and case handling, and precise case classification in Salesforce Omnichannel.
What you need
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in luxury travel or hospitality.
- Comfort using MS Office applications.
- Ability to work from instructions and also operate independently when needed.
- Solid understanding of reservation systems and booking tools.
- Strong skills in problem-solving, organisation, and interpersonal communication.
