Role Overview

Work at a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store, delivering health, beauty, and convenience services while placing customers at the forefront of your efforts. This role aims to increase sales for beauty products and services through outstanding customer interaction and product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and heighten awareness of promotional initiatives.

• Encourage customers to join and utilize the PC Optimum loyalty program to boost sales.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere for customers and team members alike, prioritizing excellent service.
• Use eClienteling techniques to enhance the customer experience and promote products actively.
• Book and promote in-store event appointments to boost engagement.
• Represent and endorse company products and services diligently.
• Participate in vendor training and store-led education sessions to maintain product knowledge.
• Adhere strictly to the Cosmetics Operating Standards and ensure compliance with health, safety, and loss prevention policies.
• Maintain professionalism and comply fully with all store procedures.
• Perform additional duties as necessary to support store operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Strong decision-making skills and independent judgment.
• Proven sales ability within cosmetics with consultative selling experience.
• Thorough familiarity with a variety of beauty products and services.
• Capable of performing detailed makeup and skin care consultations including demonstrations.
• Excellent communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Capable of lifting weights up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable climbing ladders and performing physical tasks such as bending and stretching to manage stock.
