Job description
Role overview
Join a neighbourhood store team that delivers health, beauty, and everyday convenience services, with the customer experience at the heart of the role.
Key duties
- Use PDT and MMS systems to complete day-to-day work.
- Handle exit strategy and product returns when assigned.
- Stay highly knowledgeable about assigned inventory areas, product placement, and expiry tracking.
- Maintain in-store presentation standards, including image and current merchandising trends.
- Create product displays that are easy for customers to browse and buy from.
- Work toward daily sales goals.
Customer service expectations
- Maintain a polished appearance that follows uniform and dress code requirements.
- Proactively approach customers in the aisles and offer assistance.
- Bring awareness of the cosmetics market to the role.
- Show strong customer service abilities.
General accountabilities
- Follow all health and safety rules.
- Comply with store standards at all times.
- Adhere to loss prevention policies and procedures.
- Complete other duties as needed.
Qualifications and working style
- Strong planning, judgment, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work efficiently with good organization and neatness.
- Comfortable adapting to changing conditions on the sales floor.
- If cash handling applies, accuracy and efficiency are required when processing customer orders.
- Basic computer and cash register skills.
- Good record-keeping and attention to detail.
- Capable of working independently.
- Self-motivated and dependable.
Working conditions
- Flexible shifts may be required, including evenings and weekends.
Physical requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to climb a ladder.
