Job description
Role Overview
Apparel Group is looking for a Beauty Advisor to deliver premium customer guidance across skincare, makeup, haircare, and fragrance. The role focuses on creating a refined in-store experience, helping customers choose the right products, and representing the brand to a high standard in the Doha location.
Customer Experience and Beauty Consultation
- Offer tailored beauty advice across skincare, makeup, haircare, and fragrance.
- Explain product benefits, correct usage, and application methods so customers feel confident using their purchases.
- Develop lasting customer relationships that encourage loyalty, repeat visits, and retention.
- Provide a service experience that matches luxury retail expectations and brand standards.
Sales Performance and Product Knowledge
- Work toward both personal and store targets, including sales goals, conversion rate, UPT, and ATV.
- Keep up to date with new launches, key products, ingredient information, shade options, and market trends.
- Support promotions, sampling activities, and campaign messaging on the shop floor.
- Recommend related products and use cross-selling techniques to improve the customer journey and basket value.
Store Presentation, Hygiene, and Tester Management
- Maintain attractive product displays, clean testers, tidy shelves, and well-arranged gondolas in line with visual merchandising rules.
- Ensure items are correctly stocked, labelled, priced, and presented.
- Assist with visual merchandising changes, layout adjustments, and seasonal store updates.
- Follow grooming, hygiene, and daily store checklist procedures at all times.
Operations, Inventory Support, and Teamwork
- Help with replenishment, expiry monitoring using FIFO/FEFO, and shrinkage control.
- Support stock counts, goods receipt checks, and stock movement coordination.
- Share customer feedback, product performance observations, and insights about category preferences.
- Help onboard and coach new colleagues on product knowledge and service expectations.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1 to 3 years of experience in beauty, cosmetics, skincare, or premium retail.
- Strong understanding of beauty products and a genuine interest in consultation and customer care.
- Clear communication and strong people skills.
- Ability to identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products.
- Well-groomed presentation suited to luxury retail settings.
- Results-oriented attitude with the ability to perform in a busy, target-driven environment.
- Knowledge of makeup techniques, skincare routines, or fragrance layering will be an added advantage.
