Role Overview

The Beauty Advisor plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service and satisfaction through comprehensive product knowledge and effective sales strategies. This position entails the upkeep of merchandise presentation, enhancing the shopping experience, and supporting promotional activities to stimulate store growth. Success requires proactive customer interaction, awareness of current beauty trends, and strict adherence to company guidelines to foster a positive and profitable retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer product recommendations by clearly communicating their features, advantages, and benefits to customers.
• Assist customers in selecting and purchasing products based on brand, type, and color preferences.
• Employ effective sales tactics including suggestive selling, upselling, and cross-selling to boost average transaction value.
• Monitor stock levels, particularly GOBE products, ensuring availability and proper safekeeping to prevent theft or damage.
• Maintain accurate reports on product shelf life and update displays following approved planograms and standards.
• Regularly refresh product prices and shelf tags in line with weekly price adjustments.
• Ensure excellence in customer service practices such as friendly greetings and addressing inquiries or complaints promptly and appropriately.
• Engage in loyalty programs and handle customer conversions to strengthen client relationships.
• Keep the assigned retail area clean and organized while preparing and setting up marketing materials for store promotions and campaigns timely.
• Comply rigorously with company policies regarding attendance, conduct, and participation in planned personal and team development activities.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; a higher degree is not mandatory.
• Between 2 to 4 years of retail experience, especially within beauty or fashion sectors.
• Good understanding of beauty and fashion industry trends, along with operational skills including stock handling, visual merchandising, retail systems, and cash management.
• Proficient computer skills combined with excellent interpersonal and customer service capabilities, including empathy, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
