Role overview
For the September 2026 intake, FIM CCI Formation Ouest Normandie is recruiting an alternating Barmaid / Barman for a themed bar in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin as part of the TFP Barman Level 4 training program.
This opportunity is part of an apprenticeship-style pathway designed to help you build a career in the hospitality sector while developing practical bar service skills. The school offers more than 60 work-study programs from CAP to BAC+5 across commerce, finance, industry, digital, export, supply chain, tourism, hospitality, and restaurant-related fields. The institution operates four campuses in Normandy: Cherbourg, Granville, Saint-Lô Campus 1, and Saint-Lô Campus 2.

Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare the bar counter before service.
- Monitor stock levels and carry out inventory checks.
- Welcome guests and guide them with appropriate recommendations.
- Mix, prepare, and serve drinks.
- Handle payments and cash register operations.
- Keep the premises and bar equipment clean and well maintained.
Training and schedule
During the 12-week training period at the CFA, you will strengthen your technical bar skills, expand your knowledge of beverages, improve your customer-facing abilities, and work on your English.
The role is mainly carried out in the evening.
