About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Barista to join our team supporting Defence services. This full-time position involves crafting high-quality coffee drinks and providing exceptional service to our customers. Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday: Full-time day shifts
- Saturday and Sunday: No scheduled hours
Please note this role is contracted on a full-year basis.
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve expertly blended coffee drinks and delicious food items that satisfy customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
- Process payments accurately, handling both cash and card transactions.
- Work collaboratively as a communicative and enthusiastic team member.
- Ensure availability of clean mugs and plates by managing stock levels.
- Develop knowledge of coffee brewing methods, beverage blends, food presentation, and preparation techniques.
- Perform checks on brewing equipment daily, reporting maintenance needs promptly.
- Represent the Defence sector positively and maintain the company's reputable brand image.
- Adhere strictly to Food Handling and Hygiene standards as well as Health and Safety regulations.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport easily.
- Previous experience in customer service roles.
- Highly motivated with a commitment to delivering excellence.
- Ability to take initiative and make customer-focused decisions.
- Hands-on experience operating coffee brewing equipment.
- Capability to perform effectively under pressure.
- Exceptional punctuality and dependability.
