Barista / Café Attendant

Role Overview

Luini Bakery in Al Khobar is looking for a full-time, on-site barista/café attendant to join the team. The role reports to the manager and focuses on serving customers, preparing beverages and light food items, and keeping the service area running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and create a pleasant first impression.
• Share menus, answer questions, and help customers choose drinks or food items.
• Take customer orders carefully, noting any preferences or special instructions.
• Prepare beverages, pastries, and fast-food items to the expected standard.
• Handle cash and card payments accurately.
• Maintain a tidy, hygienic drink and food preparation area at all times.
• Monitor stock levels for clean cups, utensils, and preparation tools.
• Inspect equipment regularly and report any repair or maintenance issues.
• Follow health and safety procedures while working.
• Collect customer feedback and pass useful suggestions to the manager for menu improvement.

Skills and Personal Qualities

The ideal candidate should be organized, alert, detail-oriented, and able to stay focused on customer preferences and presentation. Strong communication, a friendly manner, good multitasking ability, and confidence in using coffee and espresso equipment are important. The role also calls for calmness under pressure, creativity in drink presentation, and a willingness to keep learning new hot and cold beverage techniques.
