Role Overview

We are looking for a full-time Barista and All-Round team member based in Bolton, Ontario. The position requires crafting espresso-based and other drinks up to Mashric’s high standards, operating coffee equipment, and ensuring a tidy and well-organized service space. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, order taking, processing payments, and maintaining attentive customer service throughout their visit.

Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso drinks and other beverages according to café standards.
• Operate coffee machines and related equipment efficiently.
• Greet customers warmly and take accurate orders.
• Process payments promptly and securely.
• Support food preparation and handle light café food items, adhering to hygiene and safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area.
• Assist with stock management and restocking supplies.
• Participate in opening and closing duties and collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong skills in customer interaction, including excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Previous barista experience with espresso machines and beverage preparation, along with basic coffee knowledge.
• Clear communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
• Experience with food preparation within safety and hygiene protocols.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented approach to drink presentation, order accuracy, and workstation cleanliness.
• Dependability, punctuality, and flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience in café, restaurant, or hospitality settings considered advantageous.
