Barista / All-Round Cafe Staff at Newly Managed Cafe in Kirrawee NSW

About the Role

We are excited to announce the reopening of a charming cafe under new management, located just a five-minute walk from Kirrawee Station, NSW 2232. The cafe is seeking dedicated staff to join their team and deliver an outstanding customer experience in a welcoming dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take orders efficiently
• Manage billing and payment transactions accurately
• Prepare sandwiches and toast sweets for takeaway orders
• Make coffee and juices, including performing barista duties with basic latte art skills
• Provide attentive service to dine-in guests and maintain cleanliness by clearing dishes and cleaning floors (sweeping and mopping)
• Assist kitchen staff occasionally by washing dishes

Required Skills and Attributes

• Experience as a barista with the ability to multitask (making coffee while taking orders)
• Proficiency in basic latte art
• Good communication skills with at least intermediate English proficiency for effective interactions
• A positive, polite, and team-oriented attitude
• A strong commitment to maintaining a clean work environment and following workplace rules
