Role overview
The Fresh Factory is looking for a skilled Bakery / Pastry CDP to join its Bengaluru kitchen. This role is centered on creating breads, viennoiserie, pastries, desserts, and other baked items from the ground up, with a strong emphasis on craft, seasonal ingredients, natural fermentation, and clean-label products.
The bakery team values careful technique, thoughtful product development, and consistency across every batch. If you enjoy working with high-quality ingredients and building products with intention rather than shortcuts, this position may be a strong fit.
What you will do
- Produce artisan breads, sourdough, laminated pastries, cakes, cookies, and desserts.
- Keep recipes, product quality, and final presentation uniform across production runs.
- Work with the culinary team to create new bakery items that reflect the season.
- Plan daily production, track inventory, and help keep waste to a minimum.
- Follow strict hygiene, food safety, and kitchen organization standards at all times.
- Guide and train junior members of the bakery team.
