COBS Bread is looking for bakers in Calgary to support a busy local bakery operation. The role is centered on producing fresh baked goods each morning in a clean, safe, and team-oriented environment. Key duties
The baker will work early in the day with a small team to complete daily production. Core tasks include following recipes precisely, reviewing production schedules, measuring and mixing ingredients, shaping dough, and managing items through the ovens. The role also involves helping maintain cleanliness in the bakery and contributing to a positive customer experience.

Physical demands
This position involves continuous standing and walking, regular lifting and carrying of up to 22 kg, frequent turning and reaching, occasional pushing and pulling, some forward bending, the ability to raise at least 2.5 kg to a height of 1.7 metres, and constant use of both hands with frequent wrist rotation and flexing plus occasional forceful gripping.
Pay and benefits
The starting pay is $15 to $17 per hour, depending on experience. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits, and all employees receive complimentary products during each shift.
