Role Overview
Springworks is hiring a meticulous and dependable Background Verification Specialist - Implant to support the Employment Verification team. The role focuses on end-to-end employment verification, ensuring candidate details are checked accurately, quality standards are maintained, and cases are completed within the expected turnaround time. The right candidate should be organized, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-moving, remote-first environment. The selected professional will be stationed at the client location in Ahmedabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out employment checks using multiple methods such as phone calls, email outreach, and third-party verification platforms.
- Coordinate with HR teams, reporting managers, and other organizations to confirm employment tenure, designation, pay details, and reason for leaving.
- Examine supporting documents including offer letters, relieving letters, and salary slips to verify authenticity and consistency.
- Record verification results accurately and without delay in internal systems and tools.
- Flag inconsistencies, warning signs, or cases with no response to senior colleagues or clients according to standard procedures.
- Keep a strong eye on turnaround time and quality expectations throughout the process.
- Work with related verification teams such as education, address, and ID checks to close cases end-to-end.
- Assist with audit needs and help improve existing workflows and processes.
Required Profile
- A bachelor’s degree in any field is required.
- Applicants should have 1 to 3 years of experience in background verification or operational roles.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills are essential.
- The role requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
- Working knowledge of MS Office or Google Workspace is needed, and experience with CRM or ticketing systems will be an added advantage.
Preferred Qualities
- Previous exposure to background verification or recruitment operations is preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setup.
- Understanding of employment structures across industries such as IT, BPO, and manufacturing is beneficial.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Docs, Google Sheets, and MS Office is necessary.
Work Schedule
- This is a six-day workweek role in a fast-paced client-side environment.
