About the Team

You’ll be joining TikTok’s messaging organization, which is focused on strengthening user relationships through the app’s messaging experience. The product area is still developing, and the team’s work centers on creating tools that make it easier for people to connect and share what matters to them.

Role Overview

This graduate opportunity is designed for candidates joining in 2026 who want to begin their career in a fast-moving environment with room to learn, contribute, and grow. The role is based in Singapore and is full-time and onsite.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build large-scale backend systems that support the TikTok app.
• Strengthen system architecture to improve scalability, stability, speed, and overall reliability.
• Work closely with cross-functional partners to deliver strong results in a rapid product development setting.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• You should be in your final year and studying Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another related technical field.
• You need working familiarity with Golang, Python, Java, or similar programming languages and frameworks, along with a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.

Preferred qualifications:

• Applicants who show strong ownership, self-motivation, internship experience in backend development, and exposure to end-to-end project delivery will be prioritized.
