Role overview
Ryanair is hiring B1 Licensed Engineers to work at Dublin Airport in Ireland. This position sits within the airline’s line maintenance and engineering operation and is part of a major growth phase as the company aims to expand to 800 aircraft and 300 million guests over the next decade.
The role is based at the Dublin Airport hub, which is the second-largest base in the Ryanair network and serves as the receiving point for all B737 8200 deliveries. The position follows a fixed 4 on 4 off roster.
Compensation
The total package can reach up to €119,000, inclusive of shift allowance and pension.
Key duties
- Carry out routine servicing and fix defects across Ryanair Group aircraft.
- Support recovery efforts and provide assistance when aircraft are grounded.
- Maintain a safe, compliant workplace in line with company procedures, policies, and regulatory standards.
- Oversee, guide, and support aircraft mechanics and apprentices.
- Take on other tasks assigned by the Shift Leader.
Required profile
- A valid, unrestricted EASA B1 licence is mandatory.
- Type rating on Boeing 737-7/8/9 Leap 1B is an advantage.
- Prior experience in hangar maintenance and/or line maintenance is needed.
- Previous certification privileges in a comparable role are required.
- The ideal candidate should be self-driven and comfortable working independently.
- Strong spoken and written English skills are essential.
- Applicants must be adaptable in a fast-changing working environment.
- Good computer skills are necessary.
- Experience with AMOS will be viewed very positively.
