Role overview
Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Limited is hiring licensed B1 and B2 aircraft engineers to strengthen its maintenance team. In this role, you will help keep the aircraft fleet safe, compliant, and ready for service.
You will be based in the hangar at Prestwick Airport in South Ayrshire, Scotland, where you will carry out scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections in line with regulatory requirements and the relevant manufacturer guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out allocated maintenance activities independently or with very limited supervision.
- Maintain consistently high standards across all engineering work.
- Prepare and complete the required maintenance records and paperwork.
- Follow company procedures, internal policies, regulatory requirements, and the MOE.
- Keep the work area safe, orderly, and clean at all times.
- Observe and comply with the company’s health and safety policy.
Requirements
- Applicants must hold an EASA and/or UK CAA B1 or B2 licence.
- A Boeing 737NG/MAX type rating is preferred.
- Strong spoken and written English skills are essential.
- Prior base maintenance experience is required.
- You should be adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-changing environment.
- Applicants must be prepared to work shifts.
- This is a permanent position.
