Location and Work Setup
Position based in Singapore (Postal Code 797799), requiring onsite presence.
Role Overview
As a B1 Aircraft Maintenance Technician at Jet Aviation, you will be part of a committed maintenance unit responsible for executing diverse maintenance tasks on aircraft, following company policies and aviation regulations. Duties will align with Jet Aviation’s Part 145 certification, health and safety standards, customer requirements, and airworthiness mandates.
Main Duties
- Collaborate with Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks compliant with manufacturer specifications and company protocols.
- Support troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repair of aircraft mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems under the guidance of a Licensed Engineer.
- Conduct inspections, service aircraft components, replace parts, and execute necessary repairs while ensuring safety and quality standards.
- Install equipment, conduct preventive maintenance, and repair aircraft employing varied trade skills.
- Accurately log all maintenance actions in the management system promptly and maintain detailed records of work completed.
- Assist in performing functional tests on aircraft systems and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to regulatory rules with a focus on safety, quality, and workmanship excellence.
- Coordinate effectively with maintenance teams and departments to ensure efficient task completion.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at refining maintenance protocols.
- Stay updated on relevant procedures and safety guidelines.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support operational goals and business success.
Candidate Requirements
- Technical knowledge relevant to mechanical or industrial environments, preferably with aviation experience.
- Clear understanding of aviation safety and regulatory frameworks applicable to aircraft maintenance.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting Aircraft Maintenance Manuals.
- Diploma or Foundation Degree in Aircraft Engineering.
- Computer literacy, especially in MS Office applications.
