The position also requires regular interaction with customers, the ability to work with limited supervision, and consistent attendance including overtime and weekend shifts. Employees must give advance notice to a supervisor if unable to report to work, have reliable transportation, complete work according to FAA rules, follow all company and safety policies, and maintain a customer-focused approach.
Physical, Mental, and Working Conditions

Mental requirements include understanding and applying regulations and guidelines, troubleshooting avionics and instrument systems, performing functional tests, and working professionally with others.
You will report to an assigned Avionics Team Leader. Work takes place in a hangar environment with extreme temperature changes, and aircraft run activity may require outdoor work. Duties may involve varied positions around aircraft. Tools and equipment used include mechanic-supplied hand tools, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment, jacks, stands, lifts, tugs, power carts, engine-powered equipment, crimpers, soldering irons, heat guns, a personal computer, and work-order printouts.
Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is generally between $39.00 and $49.00. Actual pay may be higher or lower depending on location, experience, and performance. If assigned to an alternate shift, a shift differential may also apply. Additional compensation may include a semi-annual discretionary bonus, a 401(k) company match, and an employer contribution to a Health Savings Account (HSA).
Benefits
Eligible employees receive benefits starting on day one. The package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, HSA and FSA options, life insurance, disability coverage, supplemental benefits, a 401(k) plan with employee contributions and employer match, paid company holidays, weekly PTO accruals, flexible schedules such as 5x8, 4x10, and 3x12, weekly competitive pay, bonus opportunities tied to company and site performance, and internal mobility with career advancement opportunities.
