Job description
Overview
Lead and oversee a team of seven direct reports providing first-line technical assistance in audiovisual services for internal stakeholders within a large public sector organisation. Report directly to the Commercial Manager to ensure dependable and secure technological service delivery through team management and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement structured recommendations derived from a recent review to optimize operations.
- Provide leadership and foster professional growth for a team of seven members.
- Maintain continuous and effective meeting room technologies alongside AV and event systems.
- Manage relationships and coordinate with external vendors and contractors.
- Align business-as-usual practices by coordinating new business processes and internal systems.
- Encourage a robust health and safety culture within the team.
- Oversee both operational and capital budgets efficiently.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Strong leadership background, preferably within teams managing AV/event technology services or IT sectors.
- Proven ability to apply recommendations, develop project plans, and achieve successful business process implementations.
- Capacity to drive change effectively while maintaining ongoing BAU service delivery.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to manage customer expectations and promote a positive organisational culture.
