Job Overview
We seek a qualified Automotive Technician to become part of a reputable franchise dealership located in Whangārei, Northland, New Zealand, specializing in prominent and trusted automotive brands. This role involves servicing, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles, primarily Japanese marques like Nissan, Toyota, Mitsubishi, and Mazda, while upholding high quality, safety, and manufacturer standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repairs compliant with manufacturer guidelines.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues promptly and precisely.
- Accurately complete job cards and associated paperwork.
- Collaborate closely with Service Advisors and workshop team members.
- Ensure all operations adhere to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Support and enhance a productive and positive workshop environment.
Candidate Profile
- Trade-qualified Automotive Technician with confirmed experience, preferably with Japanese vehicle brands including Nissan, Toyota, Mitsubishi, and Mazda.
- Strong diagnostic abilities and fault-finding expertise.
- Efficient and adaptable in a fast-paced working environment.
- Committed team player exhibiting a professional demeanor and a robust work ethic.
- Meticulous attention to workmanship and detail.
- Previous franchise dealership experience is an asset.
