Role overview
North Western Toyota in Whangārei, Northland is looking for additional automotive technicians, including candidates who are nearly qualified, to support its continued growth in the region. This is a permanent full-time opportunity offering competitive pay, Toyota-specific training, and relocation assistance for suitable applicants who are moving to Northland.
What the role involves
- Carry out vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs in line with Toyota standards.
- Use current diagnostic equipment, tools, and software to identify electrical and mechanical issues.
- Deliver high-quality workmanship and clear communication that supports customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with the wider workshop team to help meet service objectives efficiently.
What the employer is looking for
- An automotive trade qualification at NZQA Level 4, or a qualification very close to completion.
- Solid hands-on mechanical ability and a careful eye for detail.
- A strong focus on safety, quality, and ongoing improvement.
- A current New Zealand driver licence.
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand; applications from overseas without valid NZ work rights will not be considered.
Training and growth
