Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Springfield

Overview

Enterprise Mobility is looking for dependable, detail-oriented people to join its team as full-time automotive detailers in Springfield, Massachusetts. This position is based at 1045 Boston Rd, Springfield, MA 01119 and pays $17.70 per hour.

Work Schedule

This role follows a steady 40-hour full-time schedule. The current working hours are:

• Monday: 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Tuesday: Off
• Wednesday: 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Sunday: Off

Role Summary

The Automotive Detailer / Car Washer helps maintain the company’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, and presentation. The job involves preparing vehicles for customer use by cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and staging a variety of vehicles such as cars, trucks, and vans.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors following accepted industry procedures.
• Wash, dry, and clean exteriors across different vehicle types, including cars, vans, and trucks.
• Inspect fuel levels, warning lights, windshield condition, registration, and any customer belongings left in the vehicle; place items of value into Lost & Found and ensure registration details match the license plate.
• Check fluids, tire pressure, tread depth, and overall tire condition, and add fluids when required.
• Fuel vehicles and stage them for the next use.
• Look for safety issues and report damage, warning indicators, or concerns involving the windshield, tires, or exterior; remove vehicles from preparation if needed.
• Keep the work area neat, organized, and safe, and report any hazardous conditions.
• Use cleaning equipment such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Support customers when necessary, including occasional transportation to and from branch locations.
• Help maintain the overall appearance of the site, including interiors and exteriors of branch locations.
• Perform general cleanliness tasks such as wiping desks and counters, cleaning phones, sweeping and vacuuming floors, emptying trash, cleaning restrooms, and sweeping the lot.
• Work on self-improvement through feedback, training, skill building, and goal setting.
• Keep a consistent record of attendance and punctuality.
• Handle other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• A valid, unrestricted driver’s license is required because operating a motor vehicle is a core part of the role.
• Candidates must already be legally authorized to work in the United States without future sponsorship for work authorization.
• At least six consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience is required.
