Role Summary

In this position, you will help maintain high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rental vehicles. The job involves detailed cleaning, sanitizing, inspection, and preparation of cars, trucks, and vans so they are ready for use.

Enterprise Mobility operates a broad network of mobility services, including Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car, along with carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, and travel management services. The company manages a large global fleet through thousands of neighborhood and airport locations across more than 90 countries and territories.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors using standard industry procedures.
• Wash, dry, and clean vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks of different sizes.
• Inspect fuel levels, warning lights, windshields, registration, and any customer belongings left in the vehicle.
• Reset or restore vehicle settings and place found valuables into Lost & Found.
• Review fluid levels, tire condition, tire pressure, tread depth, and exterior damage; add fluids when needed.
• Refuel and stage vehicles for readiness.
• Identify safety issues and report warning lights, damage, or other concerns as required.
• Keep the work area neat and organized and escalate unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Use equipment such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Support customers when needed and may transport customers between branches.
• Help keep the branch visually presentable, including cleaning interior and exterior areas.
• Handle routine site-cleaning tasks such as desks, counters, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, lot sweeping, and other upkeep duties.
• Work on performance improvement through feedback, training, self-review, and goal setting.
• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Carry out other assigned job-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• A valid driver’s license is required, with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• There must be no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record within the last 5 years.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required, and the employer will not provide sponsorship now or in the future.
• Candidates need at least 12 consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.
