Role Overview

The Team Lead for v10 Apex Onboarding & Adoption is accountable for guiding the onboarding and adoption function so customers can successfully deploy PBS v10 Apex, move through transitions smoothly, and use the software effectively over the long term. The position blends team leadership, customer support, operational oversight, and process improvement. It also involves coaching specialists, maintaining quality standards, and helping the department deliver consistent training and implementation outcomes.

Key Duties

  • Keep a strong working knowledge of PBS v10 Apex, dealership operations, and implementation processes to support both customers and teammates.
  • Direct and assist complex training, deployment, and transition work across assigned areas.
  • Handle large, high-stakes, or operationally intricate implementation projects.
  • Track team workload, performance, and customer engagement while coaching and developing team members for reliable results.
  • Work with leadership and cross-functional teams to remove operational barriers and improve customer transition experiences.
  • Ensure accountability for implementation quality, adoption outcomes, and consistency across the team.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships by understanding business needs and responding promptly to training requests.
  • Provide higher-level support for workflow, operational, and adoption issues that go beyond specialist scope.
  • Investigate problems, coordinate internal escalations, and manage queues so requests are resolved appropriately.
  • Review enhancement feedback and follow up on items affecting workflows, training, and the customer experience.
  • Take part in daily, weekly, and monthly planning and review meetings.
  • Lead improvement initiatives based on feedback to strengthen training delivery, deployment methods, standards, and team processes.
  • Maintain documentation and encourage best practices in training, deployment, adoption, and operations.
  • Promote a collaborative, respectful, and knowledge-sharing team culture.
  • Help onboard and develop new team members in assigned functions.
  • Complete annual and semi-annual performance evaluations.
  • Support hiring activities by interviewing prospective candidates.
  • Commit to ongoing learning and cross-training.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years of experience with PBS, a dealership, or the automotive industry.
  • Prior people-management or leadership experience.
  • Strong computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and professional phone manner.
  • Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
  • Ability to set priorities and work independently.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within Canada and the United States when required.
  • High school diploma.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Calgary, Alberta. The role includes one opening.
