Role Overview

The position of Automobile Inspector cum Buyer involves evaluating vehicle conditions, establishing fair market values, and negotiating purchase deals directly with sellers. While primarily based in the office, the role requires occasional travel to perform on-site vehicle inspections.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive physical inspections covering the engine, body, chassis, electrical systems, interiors, tires, and related documentation.
• Detect mechanical faults, accident histories, and cosmetic damages affecting vehicle valuation.
• Produce detailed inspection reports utilizing standardized templates and checklists.
• Negotiate purchase prices with sellers ensuring adherence to approved margin limits.
• Authenticate vehicle ownership paperwork, registrations, and ensure compliance with legal regulations (including RTA and traffic files).
• Collaborate with sales and auction teams to facilitate seamless incorporation of purchased vehicles into inventory.
• Occasionally travel within Dubai and other Emirates to conduct on-site vehicle inspections.
• Maintain daily logs of activities and update inspection and purchase records within the company's CRM system.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in automobile inspection, used car purchasing, or related automotive roles within the UAE.
• In-depth understanding of vehicle mechanics, common faults, and awareness of UAE vehicle market pricing.
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
• Strong negotiation capabilities paired with excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable using mobile applications and CRM platforms for recording inspections and transactions.
• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic and/or Hindi is advantageous.
