Job Overview
This walk-in recruitment is for the role of Automation (TestMu AI) / Selenium QA Engineer based in Chennai. Candidates with 7-12 years of relevant experience are invited to participate in the walk-in interview scheduled for Saturday, 18th July at the TCS Chennai One IT SEZ, Pallavaram-Thoraipakkam area.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and maintain automated test scripts utilizing Selenium technology.
- Establish and improve automation frameworks tailored for web applications.
- Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and detailed scenarios.
- Conduct tests covering functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end aspects.
- Execute API testing employing tools like Postman and Rest Assured.
- Incorporate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines seamlessly.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Analyze defects thoroughly, conduct root cause investigations, and manage issue resolutions.
- Utilize AI-driven testing methods and leverage TestMu AI features for enhanced testing efficiency and coverage.
- Guide and mentor junior testing staff and contribute to quality engineering best practices.
Required Skills and Technologies
- Proficient in Selenium WebDriver for automation.
- Experience with Java or Python programming languages.
- Skilled in developing test automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with TestNG or JUnit testing frameworks.
- Competent in API testing using Postman and Rest Assured.
- Knowledgeable in SQL and database testing practices.
- Experience using defect tracking tools such as JIRA and ALM.
- Version control expertise with Git.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
