Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated AI Automation Specialist to join our marketing company based in South Africa. This full-time role involves working onsite and offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from $1000 to $2000 USD. Work hours are 9AM to 6PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, with a primarily work-from-home arrangement to automate and enhance business processes using AI and automation platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine AI agent skills, instructions, and workflow automations.
- Automate the creation of AI-driven advertisements using image and video AI models.
- Streamline client onboarding processes through automation.
- Automate various copywriting tasks to enhance efficiency.
- Implement automated tracking for organizational data.
- Maintain and improve existing automation and AI workflows within a mature system.
Role Requirements
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Make, Zapier, or n8n.
- Proven familiarity with AI coding agents like Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar platforms, including working with GitHub repositories for code updates, troubleshooting, and validation.
- Comfortable handling APIs, webhooks, JSON, authentication protocols, and basic scripting.
- An understanding of AI-agent tools, including MCP servers, is advantageous.
- While advanced coding expertise is not mandatory, a solid grasp of tool interoperability and integration troubleshooting is expected.
- Preferred qualifications include programming or software development background, experience writing or editing scripts, and familiarity with platforms such as Google Sheets, Google Forms, Google Drive, Airtable, ClickUp, or GoHighLevel.
- Knowledge of AI image and video tools (e.g., GPT Image, Kling, Seedance, Grok Imagine) and AI agents like Hermes or OpenClaw is a plus.
- We provide training on our specific systems and workflows, so existing automation and AI coding agent experience are critical.
