This position focuses on PLC programming, HMI/SCADA visualization, and control-system integration for power generation and industrial automation projects. The work calls for a strong grasp of electrical power systems, genset control, synchronization, and load management.

About the company

Everllence, previously called MAN Energy Solutions, develops solutions that improve propulsion, decarbonization, and efficiency across shipping, energy, and industry. With a global workforce of about 15,000 people spread across more than 140 locations, the company supports major industries in lowering hard-to-abate emissions and contributing to the energy transition.

Key responsibilities

  • Build, update, and diagnose PLC logic using Siemens TIA Portal.

  • Carry out testing, commissioning, and fault-finding activities at project locations.
  • Connect PLC solutions with genset controllers supplied by different manufacturers.
  • Develop and maintain control strategies for synchronization, load sharing, and load management.
  • Review power-system needs and convert them into practical control logic.
  • Contribute to FAT, SAT, and on-site commissioning work.
  • Produce and keep technical records, backups, and system setup files up to date.

Required qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.
  • Strong practical experience with Siemens PLCs, TIA Portal, and WinCC.
  • Background in developing visualization systems and SCADA applications.
  • Good understanding of genset control systems from multiple OEMs.
  • Sound knowledge of power-system functions, especially synchronization, load sharing, and load management.
  • Ability to handle complex automation assignments independently.
  • Willingness to travel and work at project sites within Saudi Arabia and internationally.

Location and work arrangement

The role is based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and is onsite. International travel and assignments may be required depending on project needs.
