Role Overview
Al Waha For Cars is looking for an accomplished Auto Parts Manager to run the daily activities of its automotive spare parts division. This position calls for someone who understands genuine and aftermarket parts, can manage stock accurately, coordinate with suppliers, and support customers with a high standard of service. The role focuses on keeping inventory balanced, improving sales performance, and ensuring smooth parts operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee everyday operations within the spare parts department.
- Keep inventory counts accurate and make sure required stock is available.
- Track stock movement and put inventory control practices in place.
- Identify, source, and purchase automotive parts from local and overseas suppliers.
- Discuss and finalize pricing, delivery timelines, and supply terms with vendors.
- Work closely with sales and service teams to meet parts demand.
- Make sure fast-moving and urgent parts are reordered on time.
- Review sales patterns and estimate future stock needs.
- Check the accuracy of parts received and issued.
- Maintain tidy, well-organized storage for all inventory.
- Manage warranty cases, returns, and defective part issues.
- Ensure every part is properly tagged and recorded in the inventory system.
- Compile monthly reports covering inventory, sales, and procurement.
- Guide and supervise spare parts staff to raise productivity and improve customer service.
- Build and sustain good working relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Follow company rules, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Drive the department toward sales and profitability goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
- At least 4 to 6 years of experience in automotive spare parts management.
- Strong understanding of automotive components, including OEM and aftermarket parts.
- Background in inventory control, purchasing, and warehouse operations.
- Ability to use ERP platforms or inventory management systems confidently.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational capabilities.
- Good communication skills and proven leadership ability.
- Comfortable working under pressure and managing several priorities at once.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- A valid Qatar driving license is mandatory.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
- Arabic language ability will be considered an added advantage.
- Experience in the GCC automotive sector is also an advantage.
