Role Overview
As an Auto Claims Specialist, you will handle a high volume of outbound calls to investigate auto accident details, identify the correct payer, submit medical claims with supporting documentation, and work to maximize reimbursements for healthcare clients. The role also involves following up on unpaid or underpaid claims, resubmitting where needed, and supporting the team through denial reports, audits, and related tasks.
Compensation
Pay is $15 per hour plus an incentive plan.

Responsibilities
- Make frequent outbound calls to patients, insurance representatives, and attorneys to gather claim information.
- Research auto accident details to determine insurance responsibility and the correct payer.
- Prepare, submit, and track medical bills along with required supporting documents.
- Review unpaid or incorrectly paid claims and take follow-up action, including resubmission when necessary.
- Support the team with denial reporting, audits, and other operational needs.
Required Skills and Background
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple screens and software tools at the same time.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced call center setting with productivity goals.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Coordination of Benefits and insurance billing is helpful but not mandatory.
