Job Summary
This remote contract role is focused on improving AI language systems through expert Australian English input. You will help refine transcriptions, contribute natural speech samples, and support the quality of language data used to train and evaluate models. Prior AI experience is not required; strong subject-matter knowledge in Australian English is the key requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Check machine-produced English transcriptions and make corrections to ensure they are accurate and linguistically strong.
- Speak transcribed passages in a clear, natural Australian English accent for recording purposes.
- Work from a quiet setting to produce clean audio, without needing specialized studio gear.
- Assess AI language data and improve it so it better reflects everyday Australian English usage and expressions.
- Coordinate with the client team by sharing observations and suggestions related to transcription and audio guidelines.
- Carefully review text and recordings for mistakes, inconsistencies, and quality issues.
- Protect confidential information and follow all data security requirements throughout the work.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Fluency at native level in Australian English, both spoken and written.
- Strong understanding of Australian English pronunciation, rhythm, and diction.
- Ability to identify transcription errors quickly and correct them accurately.
- Clear speaking voice with confident delivery for audio recording.
