Role Overview

The firm is hiring Audit Executives and Accounts Executives with 1 to 3 years of experience. The selected candidate will assist a Chartered Accountant directly and should have working exposure to internal audit, statutory audit, GST, and TDS compliance. This position is based in Ludhiana and follows a full-time, permanent schedule.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves day-to-day accounting, audit support, and compliance work, along with coordination and reporting responsibilities.

  • Check and record sales, purchases, cash transactions, bank entries, debit notes, and credit notes with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review payroll calculations, including PF and ESI compliance, expense claims, and monthly salary slips.
  • Support GST compliance by reviewing GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C, reconciling books with GSTR-2B/GSTR-2A, and handling GST refund applications such as RFD-01.
  • Review TDS calculations, determine payable liability, and prepare quarterly TDS returns.
  • Handle accounts payable by monitoring payments, invoices, purchase orders, and statements, while preparing account analyses and monthly reports.
  • Track accounts receivable, monitor overdue amounts, maintain collection records, and support follow-up for timely payments.
  • Manage invoice activities such as tracking, reviewing, approving, and issuing sales invoices, checking tax details, and resolving billing queries.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, inter-unit reconciliations, and debtor-creditor reconciliations.
  • Use Excel tools such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables for reconciliation and reporting tasks.
  • Draft emails and letters independently and coordinate effectively with internal teams and clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A Commerce or Finance graduate such as B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), or CA Inter.
  • At least 1 to 3 years of practical experience in accounting, preferably in a CA firm or company accounts team.
  • Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime.
  • Solid command over MS Excel, especially Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and reconciliation sheets.
  • Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and income tax compliance.
  • Careful attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate reconciliations.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for internal coordination and client interaction.
  • Knowledge of PF and ESIC will be considered an added advantage.
