Role Overview

The Public Areas Attendant is responsible for keeping shared spaces neat, safe, organized, and presentable at all times. The role supports a high standard of cleanliness and service across public-facing areas while also helping guests and maintaining a watchful eye for issues that may affect comfort, safety, or overall operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain all public areas to the resort’s cleanliness and presentation standards, with the aim of consistently surpassing guest expectations.
  • Carry out both routine and intensive cleaning of toilets, corridors, trolleys, pantries, and caddies, following sanitation procedures and setup standards.
  • Ensure that spaces remain tidy and inspection-ready during everyday operations and scheduled checks.
  • Keep pantries properly arranged and orderly, while following safe work methods and correct handling of cleaning chemicals.
  • Escalate defects or maintenance concerns to the management team without delay so that they can be resolved quickly.
  • Complete assigned daytime and evening cleaning tasks within the required schedule.
  • Build cooperative working relationships with team members and colleagues from other departments to support smooth operations.
  • Adhere to grooming rules, safeguard the assigned master key, and manage lost-and-found items with care and responsibility.
  • Support other tasks when requested by management.
