At Your Service Agent (AYS)

Role overview

JW Marriott in Doha is hiring a full-time, non-management At Your Service Agent to support guest communication and service coordination. This position is based at the Conference Centre Street property in West Bay, Doha, Qatar, and is not remote.

What you will do

• Handle guest questions, requests, and concerns through phone, email, chat, and mobile devices.
• Use the telephone switchboard, arrange wake-up calls, and route calls to the correct extension.
• Receive messages, document them accurately, and pass them on without delay.
• Enter guest issues and requests into the system, coordinate with the right departments such as Bellperson or Housekeeping, and follow up until the matter is resolved.
• Share information about room features, hotel amenities, and places of interest in the local area.
• Where needed, take room service orders, respond to menu queries, and record transactions in the point-of-sale system.
• Assist guests with internet access and in-room entertainment services.
• Maintain professional grooming, follow company procedures, protect confidential information, and safeguard company assets.
• Greet guests warmly, anticipate service needs, support guests with disabilities, and communicate in a clear, courteous manner.
• Work closely with teammates, contribute to shared goals, meet quality standards, and carry out additional duties assigned by supervisors.
• Be able to read and verify information across different formats, remain standing, sitting, or walking for long periods, and move items up to 10 pounds without help.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• No prior related work experience is required.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No license or certification is needed.
