Role Overview
We are looking for a Partnerships Associate to assist the Head of Partnerships & Communications in areas including institutional and CSR fundraising, engagement with High Net Worth Individuals (HNIs), event management, and communication with donors. The position involves hands-on execution requiring organizational skills, strong writing ability, multitasking capabilities, and the finesse to convert directives into polished deliverables. This role is ideal for early to mid-career professionals eager to gain comprehensive experience in partnership management while collaborating closely with senior leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support leadership in researching and developing a pipeline of potential corporate partners, foundations, HNIs, and donors.
- Create initial drafts of proposals, grant applications, and outreach communications tailored to each partner's objectives.
- Keep donor and partner tracking systems updated, including schedules for follow-ups and status updates on prospects.
- Prepare briefing materials before donor meetings and compose follow-up messages post engagement.
- Produce donor-facing materials such as presentations, one-pagers, reports, and newsletters for leadership review and approval.
- Assist with digital content creation, including LinkedIn posts and other media aligned with fundraising and partnership goals.
- Ensure consistent formatting, tone, and branding across all partnership-related documents.
- Handle end-to-end management of donor and partner events: logistics, invitations, RSVP monitoring, vendor liaison, and on-site execution.
- Draft event invites, reminders, and related communications.
- Coordinate scheduling for stakeholder meetings, roundtables, and external engagements.
- Support reconciliation, reporting, and record-keeping related to partnership funding and commitments.
- Undertake ad hoc research, benchmarking, and administrative duties to facilitate smooth partnership operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Public Policy, Development Studies, Communications, or related disciplines.
- Two to four years of experience in CSR, partnerships, fundraising, communications, or business development support roles; prior work in think tanks, non-profits, consulting, or corporate CSR foundations is preferable.
- Excellent written communication skills, comfortable with drafting proposals, presentations, and donor-focused materials from briefs.
- High attention to detail, organized, reliable in managing tracking, follow-ups, and deadlines.
- Basic understanding of India’s CSR and development sectors is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with readiness to collaborate closely with senior leaders within a small team.
