Associate to CFO/COO (all genders)

About the Role

Impossible Founders is a leading European DeepTech venture platform focused on transforming pioneering technologies into successful companies. As a critical member of our leadership support team, you will work closely with the CFO/COO Lena and occasionally support the CEO, taking ownership of various strategic, operational, and venture-building projects. This position is ideal for those early in their careers eager to gain broad exposure, handle diverse challenges, and drive impactful initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects end-to-end on a wide array of strategic and operational issues.
• Conduct research, analyze complex problems, and craft solutions where standard procedures don’t exist.
• Create detailed presentations, reports, and briefing materials for both internal teams and external partners.
• Coordinate efforts among founders, venture units, partners, investors, and service providers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Participate in refining internal workflows, reporting, and organizational infrastructure to support scaling activities.
• Perform varied operational tasks including document drafting, compliance preparation, automation research, and report maintenance.
• Support fundraising, partnerships, ecosystem engagement, events, and special initiatives.
• Proactively drive projects forward by addressing details and ensuring completion without delays.
• Identify and resolve process or operational gaps independently, anticipating needs before they arise.

Candidate Profile

We prioritize adaptability and rapid learning over prior experience. Ideal candidates thrive in responsibility-heavy roles, enjoy solving new and challenging problems, and are comfortable handling strategic and practical duties alike. Key attributes include a strong drive, excellent analytical abilities, superb organization, and fluent communication skills in German and English.

Preferred Background

• Up to 2 years of professional experience or equivalent internships.
• Experience or exposure to startups, consulting, venture capital, private equity, or agile environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with KPIs, OKRs, or similar goal-setting frameworks is beneficial.
