Role Overview
The Transaction Services (TS) group at KPMG is a renowned Deals Advisory division aiding corporate, private equity, and financial institution clients through acquisitions, divestitures, and financing transactions. The team offers specialized knowledge across various sectors, including Technology, Healthcare, Financial Services, Infrastructure, Consumer, and Real Estate. It is responsible for providing thorough financial due diligence and transaction support throughout the deal process.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions.
- Examine financial data to identify significant patterns, risks, and deal-impacting issues.
- Help prepare detailed due diligence reports and deliverables for clients.
- Ensure data accuracy through validation and coordinate with clients to clarify queries.
- Participate in transaction execution and project management tasks.
- Develop robust client relationships and sustain professional networks.
- Support business development efforts, including proposal creation and engagement documentation.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality outcomes for clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
- Experience and expertise in the Infrastructure and Energy sectors.
- Exposure to front-end/client-facing roles.
- Core financial due diligence experience ranging from 1 to 6 years.
