About the Role
This role is with a partner company seeking an Associate Product Manager based in Canada. The position provides an exciting chance to influence innovative product solutions that integrate medical applications within a leading life sciences technology environment. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, quality, sales, consulting, and customer-facing teams to define and deliver impactful product capabilities that enhance management of medical information and workflows through modern cloud-based platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, prototype, and validate product solutions addressing customer challenges effectively.
- Develop detailed product specifications, user stories, and requirements for engineering teams.
- Manage product roadmaps by prioritizing initiatives based on business impact and customer value.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality assurance, sales, and consulting to deliver integrated solutions.
- Analyze customer feedback, industry trends, and market developments to identify opportunities for product enhancement.
- Clearly communicate product vision, priorities, and needs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support agile development through iterative testing and refinements.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of medical affairs technology and evolving life sciences industry requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years progressive experience in product management or related roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a comparable technical field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Proven experience in product design, strategic planning, and development processes.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and adapt to evolving business needs.
- Experience collaborating effectively with engineering and quality assurance teams on software products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to convert business needs into technical requirements.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
- Residing within a time zone corresponding to Eastern Standard Time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of data modeling concepts such as entity relationship diagrams (ERDs).
- Familiarity with diagramming tools like Lucidchart.
- Experience drafting user stories and managing product backlogs.
- Ability to comprehend and convey technical architectural requirements and constraints.
- Prior experience in delivering software products in close partnership with engineering teams.
