Associate Product Manager

Job Overview

This role is focused on gathering requirements, designing, and implementing IT projects for designated systems within predefined scope, timelines, and budget.

Major Challenges

• Managing project scope changes while adhering to schedules.
• Delivering multiple projects efficiently despite limited resources and tight deadlines.

Primary Responsibilities

• Engage with user groups and stakeholders to collect and analyze business requirements.
• Align user needs with existing processes and draft the Functional Specification Document (FSD).
• Obtain approvals on the FSD and identify gaps by collaborating with the development team.
• Document gaps along with customization/development effort estimates including time and cost impacts.
• Assist users in preparing test plans and leading coordination efforts during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Document UAT outcomes and secure business sign-off.
• Oversee transitioning approved UAT changes into production and facilitate handover to end users.
• Monitor post-deployment user issues to maintain system stability in production.
• Implement application support processes to log and resolve production issues within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
