Role Overview
This position carries end-to-end responsibility for the technical build, engineering support, and day-to-day operation of an internal liquidity model and related analytical tools. The work is highly practical and centered on developing reliable code, improving performance, managing data workflows, and connecting the wider data landscape to the liquidity model.
Core Focus
The role involves maintaining production-ready applications, creating and running data pipelines, and linking multiple data sources such as Snowflake, source systems, FactSet, and internal databases. It also requires close coordination with investment and support teams to produce dependable analytics, repeatable reporting, and one-off data pulls when needed.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical development and ongoing engineering of the internal liquidity model and supporting analytics applications.
- Write, refine, and maintain production-quality code used in operational analytics workflows.
- Design, build, and support data pipelines that move and transform information from multiple systems.
- Integrate the data environment, including Snowflake, source platforms, FactSet, and internal databases, with the liquidity model.
- Deliver analytics outputs and reporting that are robust, reproducible, and suitable for business use.
- Prepare ad hoc data extractions for investment and support teams as required.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure analytical tools and outputs remain accurate and dependable.
Requirements
- A university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, or another closely related quantitative field.
- Comfort with hands-on technical work, especially coding, pipeline building, and maintaining live data systems.
- Experience or familiarity with data engineering and analytics environments is important for success in this role.
- Knowledge of Snowflake, AWS or Azure data engineering, or similar platforms is an advantage.
- Finance credentials such as CFA or CAIA are welcome but not mandatory.
- Relevant technical certifications are desirable, though not essential.
