About the Role
Supporting Cast collaborates with popular podcasts from major publishers such as NPR, SiriusXM, NBC, and beloved independents to help them develop sustainable revenue through paid subscriptions. We are seeking a Podcast Success Associate to join our focused, impact-driven team working directly with creators shaping the future of podcasting.
This position involves guiding new partner podcasters through the onboarding process, assisting with launch activities, and driving subscription growth. The role offers unique insights into the success strategies of leading premium podcast productions worldwide.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist podcasters and publishers by facilitating onboarding, setting up, planning launch, and supporting early-stage achievements.
- Become a reliable contact for clients by responding to inquiries and resolving technical challenges.
- Develop and enhance self-service resources such as FAQs, guides, and templates to empower partners.
- Provide partner feedback to product and engineering teams to enhance tools and features.
- Conduct proactive outreach to partners to increase adoption, grow subscriptions, and minimize churn rate.
- Support technical integrations, including helping publishers implement WordPress plugins and embedded solutions on their sites.
- Facilitate migration of publishers’ offerings and subscribers from competing platforms.
Requirements
- Between 1 and 3 years of experience in relevant roles such as customer success, account management, podcast operations, audience development, or subscription management.
- A strong customer-oriented approach, capable of handling demanding clients and solving problems efficiently while ensuring partners feel supported.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Resourcefulness, curiosity, and willingness to learn continuously.
- Proficiency with popular productivity software like Gmail, Slack, HubSpot, Notion, GitHub, and Google Sheets.
- An interest in leveraging AI tools to scale a rapidly growing organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with subscription or membership platforms such as Patreon or Substack, and familiarity with Stripe payment integration.
- Knowledge of podcast publishing technologies including RSS, hosting platforms (Megaphone, Omny, Acast, Art19, Simplecast, Libsyn), and podcast distribution portals (Apple Podcasts Connect, Spotify for Podcasters).
- Understanding of audience growth tactics in podcasting, newsletters, or the broader creator economy.
- Proven experience designing audio promotional campaigns and writing compelling copy for calls-to-action, headlines, subject lines, and landing pages.
- Hands-on experience with publishing, CRM, or analytics tools like WordPress, Mailchimp, Zapier, HubSpot, Google Analytics, and Amplitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, product teams, and within Agile development frameworks.
