Position Summary
The Growth Channels Omnichannel retail marketing team in El Segundo, CA, is seeking an Associate Analyst. This role involves supporting day-to-day operations, assisting in marketing programs, analyzing data to generate business growth recommendations, and collaborating regularly with the sales team. It offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in omnichannel retail marketing in a leading global organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze marketing campaigns and derive optimization strategies.
- Conduct business analysis including market share, sales trends, and competitor evaluation to identify growth opportunities.
- Oversee a cross-brand promotional tracking tool with regular updates and ensure data accuracy and communication.
- Collect local market insights and analyze brand and product performance.
- Assist in short-term promotional planning and execution across various brands and customers.
- Contribute to the implementation of key marketing programs for assigned brands.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support marketing execution.
- Help manage brand activation to meet commercial financial goals.
- Support planning and executing brand campaigns in the US, focusing on pricing, placement, and promotion.
- Address complex business challenges using reference materials and precedent.
- Assist with managing the portfolio’s P&L by updating quota inputs and pricing scenarios.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related discipline.
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong quantitative analysis, critical thinking, and financial acumen.
- Basic understanding of marketing concepts and business operations.
- Leadership experience or skills.
- Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Positive, can-do attitude with eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
- Creative problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines for brand analysis and reporting tasks.
- Experience in category management, trade or brand marketing, space planning, consumer research, sales, or finance is advantageous.
