Job description

About the company

Myntra is a leading fashion and lifestyle marketplace in India, built at the intersection of technology and creativity. The company focuses on innovation, bold thinking, and agile execution while creating opportunities for people to express themselves through fashion.

Founded in 2007 as a customization business, Myntra has evolved into a major fashion and technology player. The workplace is described as collaborative, merit-driven, inclusive, and intellectually curious, with an emphasis on giving teams the tools and freedom to do meaningful work.

Program overview

Udaan is Myntra’s dedicated initiative for people with disabilities. It is a six-month paid program based in Bengaluru and delivered on-site. The program is designed to provide a supportive, inclusive environment with structured onboarding, customized learning and development, mentorship, and practical on-the-job experience.

Participants may work on projects aligned with their interests and strengths, with the possibility of moving into a full-time role at Myntra after the program. Udaan 3.0 reflects the continued growth and success of this inclusion-focused initiative.

Role objective

The role is focused on managing a set of fashion brands on the marketplace and driving their growth, profitability, and customer experience. The person in this position will serve as the main contact for brand partners and help them scale through insights, assortment improvements, and strategic promotions.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary commercial partner for assigned brands and run regular weekly and monthly business reviews.
  • Bring new brands onboard and ensure their catalog is live, well optimized, and presented attractively.
  • Negotiate commercial terms such as commission rates, marketing investment, and exclusive product launches.
  • Take ownership of portfolio-level GMV and revenue goals.
  • Study performance data to spot assortment gaps and guide brands on what additional products to introduce.
  • Track core business measures such as conversion rate, average order value, and customer acquisition cost.
  • Manage stock cover and inwarding, while making sure best-selling styles have enough depth.
  • Work with logistics teams to lower return-to-origin volumes and improve delivery fulfillment speed.
  • Keep pricing competitive so the brand remains relevant and can win visibility against competitors.
  • Plan and execute promotions and campaign calendars, including large sale events and festive occasions.
  • Distribute premium on-platform visibility such as banners and search advertising based on performance and return on investment.
  • Guide brands on improving product images, videos, and descriptions to strengthen discovery and conversion.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or Fashion Management is preferred; an MBA is an advantage.
  • About 1 to 3 years of experience in e-commerce, category management, or retail buying.
  • Strong command of Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables; familiarity with Tableau or SQL is beneficial.
  • Good understanding of fashion trends and seasonal patterns in Indian and global markets.
  • Strong negotiation ability and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders at brand organizations.
