The role offers substantial responsibility from day one, including involvement in sourcing, structuring, financing, and asset management of live transactions. The Associate will collaborate closely with senior team members on all stages of the investment process.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate potential investment transactions.
- Prepare comprehensive investment documents and materials for the Investment Committee.
- Assist with transaction execution, liaising with brokers, lenders, lawyers, and financial advisors.
- Support the sourcing, assessment, negotiation, and structuring of equity and credit investments.
- Manage aspects of asset management for fund investments, including tracking business plans and coordination with partners and third parties.
- Conduct research on market trends, property performance, and tenant profiles to guide investment decisions.
- Help prepare regular investor reports, presentations, proposals, and marketing content.
- Stay informed about market conditions, capital markets, investment products, and relevant regulations.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- Between 2 to 3 years of experience in real estate private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, or related areas with exposure to transactions.
- Strong academic background.
- Highly proficient in quantitative analysis with a deep understanding of financial statements, capital structures, and real estate financing and taxation.
- Skilled in financial concepts such as cash flow analysis, time value of money, and investment returns.
- Advanced skills in financial modeling and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; mandatory proficiency in Argus Enterprise software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-driven with strong initiative, high attention to detail, and capability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
