You will also put in place business analysis practices that enable better, data-led decisions and support ongoing process improvement.
In addition, you will guide a team of IT business analysts and oversee technology-enabled projects so they continue to serve both present and future requirements of city development and city operations.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the main link between the IT function and City Development business teams, ensuring business priorities are represented in technology planning.
- Assess business needs and translate them into practical technology recommendations that improve operational performance.
- Direct business analysis teams across the project lifecycle, making sure work is delivered on time and to the expected quality.
- Run stakeholder workshops to collect input, sharpen requirements, and help set project priorities.
- Prepare and keep business process documents up to date so they remain consistent with implemented technology solutions.
- Track project progress, outputs, and milestones, and provide clear status updates to senior leadership.
- Keep up with new technologies and best practices that can improve city IT services and support Qiddiya’s broader vision.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a closely related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in business analysis, demand management, BRM, or IT consulting.
- Proven ability to work effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
- Strong skills in analysis, communication, and workshop facilitation.
- Ability to work independently, think strategically, and propose innovative solutions.
- Experience creating Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and business cases.
- Familiarity with demand or portfolio management platforms such as ServiceNow, Clarity, or comparable tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or ITIL are an advantage.
