Job description

Role overview

VF Digital Technology is hiring a curious, detail-focused Associate Analyst to support supply chain data products across the Product Supply and Finance areas. This role is a strong entry route for someone who enjoys analysis, products, and supply chain work. You will partner with Product Owners and technical teams to help deliver data-driven solutions for global supply chain users.

What you will do

  • Help deliver data products from end to end by supporting requirements collection, testing, release activities, and post-launch checks.
  • Keep the product backlog current with the Product Owner’s guidance, and make sure user stories and acceptance criteria are clear and complete.
  • Collect business needs and user feedback, then turn them into practical use cases for roadmap planning.
  • Assist with concept papers, value evaluation materials, and prioritisation documents.
  • Document business rules, data definitions, workflows, and acceptance criteria in a consistent and accurate way.
  • Prepare materials for workshops, design discussions, and sprint reviews, including process maps, user journey notes, and meeting summaries.
  • Take part in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Work with analysts, data engineers, and QA testers to monitor progress, identify blockers, and support on-time delivery.
  • Support user acceptance testing by recording outcomes and helping track issues to closure.
  • Monitor product KPIs and launch success measures by preparing reports and dashboards.
  • Help with user communications, training content, and onboarding support to encourage feature adoption.
  • Review data outputs for accuracy and consistency, and raise data quality concerns to the Product Owner and engineering team.
  • Support compliance with VF’s data governance policies and business definition standards in product documentation and feature specifications.
  • Prepare status updates, meeting agendas, and progress summaries for stakeholders.
  • Assist in coordinating with external partners and vendors to track deliverables and resolve issues.

How you should work

  • Speak with supply chain users to understand workflows, pain points, and requirements, and document the findings clearly.
  • Partner closely with the Product Owner so user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items are development-ready.
  • Track delivery progress and highlight risks or dependencies early.
  • Base analysis and recommendations on data, user feedback, and business outcomes.
  • Stay organised, proactive, and collaborative in daily work.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in a global, cross-functional environment.

What success looks like

  • You quickly build working knowledge of the Product Supply and Finance domains and can contribute independently to backlog refinement and requirements documentation.
  • The Product Owner and delivery team depend on you for accurate documentation, test coordination, and status tracking.
  • Business users see you as approachable and responsive, and trust you to capture their needs correctly.
  • You actively contribute in sprint meetings and offer ideas that improve delivery quality or team efficiency.
  • You continue to strengthen your product and data capabilities and take on more responsibility over time.

Inclusion and culture

VF says it is a purpose-led, performance-driven organisation that aims to build a workplace grounded in belonging, respect, connection, openness, and authenticity. The company also emphasizes celebrating diversity so associates can bring their authentic selves to work every day.

Experience and qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a data, product, business analysis, or supply chain-related role; strong fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may also be considered.
  • A formal education and undergraduate or graduate degrees in a related field are welcome, but the emphasis is on your overall experience and achievements.
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking skills, with the ability to break down complex problems and explain findings clearly.
  • Genuine interest in data and digital products, plus curiosity about how technology can improve supply chain results.
  • Comfort using AI tools to support product management tasks and everyday productivity.
  • Exposure to Agile delivery methods and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar systems.
  • Practical use of data and analytics tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI, with Azure, Databricks, or SQL considered an advantage.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with different stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in documentation and reporting.
  • A collaborative, can-do approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and changing demands.
  • Empathy and cultural awareness to work effectively with a global, multi-stakeholder team.
  • Integrity, plus a willingness to ask questions, highlight issues, and communicate progress honestly.

What you will learn

  • How data products are planned, built, and delivered in VF’s global digital environment.
  • Agile product management practices and how to operate in a cross-functional delivery team.
  • VF’s digital platforms, data ecosystems, and the Supply Chain domain across Product Supply and Finance.
  • Methods for documenting requirements, measuring value, and supporting user adoption.
  • VF’s data governance standards, quality frameworks, and scalable data product practices.
  • The experience needed to grow toward a Product Owner role over time.
