About the Role
Trinity Life Sciences invites enthusiastic and intellectually driven candidates to join our growing Evidence Strategy and Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) team as an Associate Consultant. This role is embedded within the wider Evidence, Value, Access and Pricing (EVAP) group, providing strategic insights and support to leading biotech, pharmaceutical, and medical device clients. The successful candidate will focus on systematic literature review and evidence synthesis from secondary sources to inform health economics and real-world evidence studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Employ systematic review methodologies such as PRISMA to conduct comprehensive literature searches in databases like PubMed and Embase.
- Develop and refine search strategies and establish inclusion/exclusion criteria using the PICOS framework.
- Screen, select, and critically appraise studies based on predefined standards.
- Extract data from selected literature and synthesize findings to support downstream strategic evidence generation.
- Prepare detailed reports, summaries, and presentations that clearly communicate review outcomes to stakeholders.
- Collaborate across global teams and liaise with clients to provide insightful, actionable recommendations addressing value, access, and pricing challenges.
- Lead workstreams, coordinate junior staff activities, and effectively communicate project progress to leadership and project managers.
- Contribute to thought leadership through authorship on peer-reviewed publications, abstracts, posters, and other scientific communications.
- Train and mentor junior colleagues and assist in internal professional development initiatives.
- Support business development by drafting proposals for systematic and targeted literature review projects, including methodology design, timelines, and budget considerations.
- Engage in internal initiatives for team growth and enhancement of EVAP's consulting capabilities.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience applying systematic review methodologies, ideally in consulting or industry roles.
- Proficient with reference management software such as EndNote or Zotero.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry, or related disciplines; advanced degrees (Master’s or PhD) are preferred.
- Experience conducting systematic literature reviews in academic, research, or industry settings.
- Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills suitable for scientific and client-facing contexts.
- Demonstrated history of supporting or authoring publications including abstracts, posters, or peer-reviewed manuscripts.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within diverse teams.
