You will help build stronger supplier relationships, improve operating discipline, and maintain a compliant procurement framework. In partnership with internal teams, you will lead end-to-end procurement work and promote modern, high-standard practices that support long-term savings, quality, and supply reliability.
What you will do
- Set the overall direction for procurement and define the main strategic priorities.
- Create and monitor KPIs that support business goals for supply assurance, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Build and maintain procurement policies, processes, and procedures, ensuring they meet all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Guide purchasing activities across vendor pre-qualification, sourcing, tenders, contract administration, supplier management, and broader supply chain coordination.
- Design, introduce, and run procurement best practices that improve performance and consistency.
Requirements
The employer is looking for a candidate with a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Professional credentials such as CIPS or CPSM are preferred.
Applicants should bring at least 15 years of leadership experience in procurement or supply chain roles, ideally gained in an integrated resort or hospitality setting.
Experience should include building and executing procurement strategies, covering category management and strategic sourcing to achieve lower costs, reliable quality, and uninterrupted supply.
The role also calls for strong exposure to full-cycle procurement operations, including RFP/RFQ processes, contract negotiation, and supplier lifecycle management across multiple spend areas.
Successful candidates must be able to lead strong teams, work effectively with senior stakeholders across different business units, and manage complex supplier networks and strategic partnerships.
A solid understanding of procurement governance, contract law, and Singapore regulatory compliance is required, along with familiarity using digital procurement systems such as SAP and Ariba to improve efficiency and visibility.
